DescriptionIf you are a Logistics Coordinator in the Service industry, you might be interested in this job with a client of OfficeTeam. You should be able to work with clients coordinating shipments as the Logistics Clerk. This position is also responsible for performing a heavy amount of data entry and utilizing customer service skills. You should also be able to take responsibility for the processing of customer orders, including coordination with vendors and arranging shipments as the Logistics Clerk. Act now and apply today! Observe, follow, and encourage dispatch & progress of orders on time and to meet delivery requirements

Follow-up with carriers, as necessary

Adhere to guidelines for approving carriers

Approve freight bills and process bills of lading

Interact and correlate with inventory and sales management; warehouse; logistics for service changes

Requirements2+ years' experience with shipping/logistics

Exceptional communication skills that provide the ability to interact with all levels of the organization with a high customer service orientation

Ability to enter data into various electronic systems while maintaining the integrity and accuracy of the data

Capacity to operate basic office equipment, complete general office work and route incoming materials

navigating basic office equipment and protocols experience

Microsoft Excel experience

Customer service experience

Experience in purchasing, inventory control, transportation and warehousing functions is beneficial
