The Director of Strategic Programs will be responsible for monitoring and overseeing operational activities for Strategic Program Managers and for supporting the sales and operations teams working on these clients. This includes assisting regions in familiarizing themselves with customer accounts, supporting the development of customer solutions, monitoring of all quality aspects of the project or account, monitoring company/customer project policies and procedures, and gaining comprehensive knowledge of the financial position of each project or account being monitored. In addition, the Critical Infrastructure leader owns the overall delivery and P&L performance of our Nuclear Region.RESPONSIBILITIES:

Responsible for all aspects of the operations and business performance within the nuclear region, including project management, installation, service and full P&L responsibility

Drive the strategic and tactical plan for the nuclear region, including the development and implementation of the operating plans and budgets to achieve the company strategy

Create and implement processes and procedures to help manage the nuclear region in the areas of resource management, service delivery, project costing, and solution development

Lead weekly/monthly progress reviews of assigned projects and accounts

Collaborate with Regional Directors, Installation Managers, Strategic Program clients and Account Managers to ensure project and regional success

Develop and foster close working relationships with all Strategic Program clients

Provide routine checks and corrective action plans for all compliance deficiencies

Selection and placement of direct reports

Coach, mentor and develop regional Program Managers

Understand contract terms, requirements and project schedules, and verify compliance

Audit safety and quality programs for compliance with company policy

Assist in the on-going analysis and updating of policies, procedures, and cost controls

Develop and monitor metrics for project performance.

Partner with regional leadership to determine sharing of talent resources to satisfy Strategic Account contracts

QUALIFICATIONS (MUST HAVE):

Must possess one or more of the following:

Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Construction Management, or related studies

Associate’s degree in Engineering, Construction Management, or related studies with a minimum of twelve (12) years of progressively more responsible experience in a field construction/project-oriented business environment

High School diploma with a minimum of twelve (12) years of progressively more responsible experience in a field construction/project-oriented business environment

Minimum of ten (10) years of progressively more responsible experience in a field construction/project-oriented business environment

Prior leadership/management experience in a field construction/project-oriented business environment.

Willingness and ability to travel 15% to 40%

Read, analyze, and interpret construction contracts, construction drawings and specifications, common scientific and technical journals, financial reports, and legal documents

Ability to define problems, collect data, establish facts, and draw valid conclusions

Ability to interpret a variety of technical instructions in mathematical or diagram form

Business acumen with ability to manage a P&L as well as generate reports

Proficient with MS Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint, Project and SharePoint).

Leadership skills that foster teamwork, innovation, agility, client relations and achieving desired results

Ability to collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to support client's growth and satisfaction

Results-oriented problem-solving skills that meet client and employee needs

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS (NICE TO HAVE):

Prior work history in the electronic security system industry, and/or the telecommunications infrastructure industry

Previous National Account experience in the security or related industries

Contract management, construction management, estimating, and project management
