Senior Java DeveloperLocation: Lisle, ILDuration: 6 months with possible contract to hireDescription:• API development & testing to improve Client's ability to track & maintain vehicle service history (the history of programmable parameters & configurations applied to electronic control modules on vehicles in service).Duties: • Work with other developers, analysts and management; interpret functional and technical specifications; design, develop, test, and deploy software solutions for global electronic service tools (diagnostics and programming) and electronic end-of-line programming.Mandatory Skills: At least 5-7 years experienced Java developer with excellent knowledge in the following areas:• Java development, including J2EE/Jakarta• Experience with database technologies (DB2, SQL Server, MongoDB, Hibernate, Derby)• Experience with REST and SOAP web services (JAX-B, JAX-WS, JAX-RS, GSON)• Experience with Apache Tomcat installation and configuration• Experience with AWS (S3, CloudFront, IAM) or Azure App Services or any cloud• Experience with AngularJS• Familiarity with software development environments - UML, SQL, distributed version control, continuous integration.
