Description We are in search of a Cloud Architect to be part of our team, contributing to a significant digital transformation initiative. Located in Lisle, Illinois, this role will involve working on a variety of projects, including designing IoT solutions within Azure and working on a geofencing project among many others. This position offers a contract to hire employment opportunity, allowing the successful candidate to be part of a diverse team and contribute to cross-functional product teams.Responsibilities: Design and implement IoT solutions within the Azure platform Participate in a large digital transformation journey, contributing to the reduction of technical debt Lead the design and strategy planning for various projects, including geofencing and EV vehicle data collection Work cross-functionally with different product teams, effectively communicating both technical and non-technical project details Utilize key skills in Client Side Scripting, Cloud Technologies, Microsoft, AB Testing, API Development, Business Process Functions, Business Requirement Document, Configuration Management, Azure Databricks, Azure Data Factory, Microsoft Azure, Data Collection Maintain a balance between technical expertise and the ability to communicate projects to non-technical individuals Contribute to the customer sales experience redesign, ensuring a smooth and efficient process Engage in continuous learning and development to stay abreast of industry trends and advancements in cloud architecture.Requirements Possess expertise in Client Side Scripting Proficient in Cloud Technologies Demonstrated experience with Microsoft products Knowledge of AB Testing techniques Skilled in API Development Understanding of Business Process Functions Ability to create and manage Business Requirement Documents Experience in Configuration Management Proficiency with Azure Databricks and Azure Data Factory Familiarity with Microsoft Azure platform Experience in Data Collection Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology or related field Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills Strong communication and interpersonal skills Ability to work independently and as part of a team Technology Doesn't Change the World, People Do.® Robert Half is the world’s first and largest specialized talent solutions firm that connects highly qualified job seekers to opportunities at great companies.
