Our fast-growing organization is seeking an ambitious Sales Representative to grow our network of campgrounds while servicing existing customers. The position priorities are to onboard campgrounds in our campground booking platform while also supporting and promoting campgrounds' businesses through strategic advertising placement in print and digital platforms with a stronger focus on digital sales.This person must be passionate and driven to achieve profitable sales growth and have the ability to cultivate and grow strong customer relationships.Duties and Responsibilities
Onboard campgrounds in our Campground Booking system
Sell advertising in print and digital utilizing our vault of internal and external assets
Prepare creative proposals and present marketing solutions to increase brand awareness on behalf of our customers
Must be prepared to switch gears and adjust to market fluctuations
Cultivate and maintain strong, ongoing customer relationships to deliver high customer satisfaction and provide ongoing sales opportunities
Be able to work independently and exercise good judgment during negotiations with customers
Rate campgrounds according to industry set quality standards
Display effective communication skills
Assist marketing team in the preparation of media kits and promotional plans
Attend industry events and workshops as required
Set up meetings with clients and effectively present proposals and address their concern
Meet and exceed budget expectations
Qualifications
Proven track record of positive sales performance and selling intangible products
Superior written and verbal communication skills
Advanced selling and negotiation skills
Excellent customer skills and consultative sales approach
Experience in digital advertising sales and up to date knowledge of digital products are a must
Excellent organizational, analytical, and planning skills
Strong business development, account management, and relationship-building skills
Sound knowledge of marketing principles and techniques
Proficient with Microsoft Office suite
Other Requirements
Must be willing to travel to assigned territory
Occasional evening and weekend work
Other duties as assigned
