This includes coordination with legal for all approvals/denials/EEOC and Department of Labor enforcement activity.Primary Duties
Plans and implements Exelon OHS functions surrounding the FMLA program. (50%)
Provides appropriate, aggressive case management and determination of all FMLA requests from all Exelon locations/sites, including consultations with treating physicians, Exelon's Medical Advisor, Site HR managers, company legal representatives, and the employee's department manager. All processes must be coordinated for the most efficient, productive determinations concerning FMLA leave. (40%)
Perform biannual audits on FMLA processes, data entry into Passport Systems Corporation Wide for all approved and non approved FMLA applications (10%)
Due to the temporary nature of this position the selected candidate will be eligible for Medical Coverage, 401K, Floating Holidays and Sick Leave only.Job ScopeProblem solving and negotiating skills. Ability to work in and contribute to a team environment. Ability to manage in a matrixed mixed environment Works under minimal supervision.Minimum Qualifications
High School Diploma or equivalent with minimum of 2-4 years relevant experience.
Extensive knowledge of the provision of FMLA, external healthcare resources, and regulation interpretation.
PC Skills (Microsoft Office, Word, Excel)
