Data Entry Specialist

Description We are offering a contract employment opportunity for a diligent Data Entry Clerk in Itasca, Illinois. This role is primarily responsible for data entry for sales quotes, timely submission of all bids, maintaining and updating the database addresses, generating daily reports, and providing back up for additional administrative duties. Responsibilities Accurately enter data for sales quotes in a timely manner Submit all bids with attention to deadlines Maintain and update database addresses to ensure accurate records Generate and distribute daily reports to relevant stakeholders Provide general backup for additional administrative duties as required Track "No quote" report for effective sales strategies Verify vendor quotes for accuracy and input them into Excel Manage time-sensitive documents effectively Ensure accuracy and organization in all tasksSkills Proficient in Microsoft Excel and Outlook Strong organizational effectiveness and attention to detail Ability to work with vendor quotes accurately Experience in data entry and administrative support.Requirements Proficiency in Data Entry operations Proficient in Microsoft Outlook and Microsoft Excel Demonstrated ability in Organizational Effectiveness Ability to ensure accuracy in all tasks Experience in handling Vendor Quotes Strong attention to detail and ability to multitask Excellent communication and interpersonal skills Ability to work independently and as part of a team Good problem-solving and analytical skills High school diploma or equivalent qualification required Previous experience in a similar role would be advantageous.
