Senior Automation Engineer

Position: Senior Automation EngineerLocation: IL (Hybrid)Duration: Full Time Primary Skills - (Testim/TestComplete) Job Description:About the Role:We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Senior Automation Engineer to join our growing team. You will play a critical role in ensuring the quality and reliability of our software products through the design, development, and execution of robust automated test suites. This role requires a strong understanding of software testing principles, proficiency in JavaScript and SQL, and hands-on experience with modern test automation tools, preferably Testim or similar platforms like TestComplete.  Responsibilities:Qualifications:5+ years of experience in software test automation.Proven experience in designing and implementing test automation frameworks.Experience working in Agile/Scrum environments.Technical Skills: Strong proficiency in JavaScript/VM Scripting.Solid understanding of SQL and database testing.Hands-on experience with Testim (preferred) or similar automation tools (TestComplete, Cypress, etc.).Automation Strategy & Design: Develop and implement comprehensive test automation strategies and frameworks.Design and architect scalable and maintainable automated test suites.Identify and select appropriate automation tools and technologies.Test Script Development & Execution: Write and maintain automated test scripts using JavaScript.Develop and execute automated tests for UI, API, and database layers.Integrate automated tests into the CI/CD pipeline.Analyze test results and generate detailed reports.Database Testing: Develop and execute SQL queries for data validation and database testing.Ensure data integrity and consistency across applications.Tool Proficiency: Utilize Testim (or TestComplete, or similar tools) to create and maintain automated tests.Configure and customize automation tools to meet project requirements.Evaluate and recommend new automation tools and technologies.Preferred Qualifications:Experience with cloud-based testing platforms.Knowledge of performance testing and security testing.Experience with other programming languages (e.g., Python, Java).Bachelor's degree in computer science or related field.  Regards, ManojDerex Technologies INCContact : 973-834-5005 Ext 206
