Description We are seeking an Inventory Analyst to join our team in the Wholesale Distribution industry. This role offers a long-term contract employment opportunity where you will be primarily responsible for managing and tracking inventory levels, recording inventory transactions, and analyzing inventory variances. Responsibilities: Efficiently manage and monitor finished goods inventory levels Accurately record transactions related to finished goods such as receipts, shipments, and adjustments Determine costs and values of finished goods, considering factors such as direct materials, labor, and overhead Prepare and maintain journal entries related to finished goods transactions Reconcile inventory accounts with the general ledger regularly Investigate and analyze any discrepancies in finished goods inventory variances Generate comprehensive reports on inventory levels, turnover, and aging Utilize ERP - Enterprise Resource Planning tools and Epic Software for managing inventory Interface with team members and other departments to ensure smooth inventory processes Provide excellent customer service by responding to inventory related inquiries and issues.Requirements Proficiency in Epic Software is required for effective management of inventory data. Familiarity with ERP - Enterprise Resource Planning is essential to streamline and integrate operational processes. Experience with ERP Solutions is crucial for efficient business process management. Knowledge of IBM AS/400 is needed for effective system administration. Ability to use Interface Engine for seamless communication between different software systems. Proficiency in About Time software for efficient time and resource management. Auditing skills are necessary to ensure compliance and accuracy of inventory records. Knowledge of Collection Processes to manage and monitor inventory payments. Strong communication skills are required to liaise with different departments and stakeholders. Excellent customer service skills are essential to address any inventory-related queries or issues.
