Accounts Payable Clerk

Role & Responsibilities:20-30 hours per week. Very flexible on how those hours are worked.A. POSITION SUMMARY: The Accounts Payable Clerk is responsible for the timely entry and payment of vendor invoices. The position reports to the Controller.B. KEY FUNCTIONS:Accounts Payable Enter approved invoices into ERP system (MS-NAV), ensuring accurate account coding and divisional/departmental allocations Review employee expenses reports for accuracy Scheduling invoice payments staying within terms and according to policy Uploading SUA files for payment Entering ACH payments in the bank Verifying and entering new vendor ACH accounts in the bank. Responding to vendor inquiries and resolve AP issues by working with other departments and the vendor Weekly meetings with QC team to review unreceived and on-hold items Obtain W-9s from new vendors and follow vendor set up procedure Work with Purchasing Department to clear old Purchase Orders from NAV Enter expenses for Germany wholly owned subsidiary and affiliate company Self-assess use tax when applicableGeneral Accounting Reconciling Due from Employees GL account Gathering approvals and email Payroll for Due from Employee deductions Analysis reports for spending AP Agings report compilation Analysis projects and other duties as assigned.Qualifications: 5+ years’ experience performing accounts payable and accounts receivable duties. High School diploma required. Previous experience in Microsoft Navision helpful.
