Schedule:Full-time, Monday–Friday

Duration:March 3rd,2025 – end of the school year (around May 30th, 2025, pending snow days/emergency days)

Work Setting:Elementary School

Caseload:Mixed caseload, size is still TBD

As an Occupational Therapist, you’ll play a pivotal role in fostering students’ success by helping them develop and enhance essential functional skills. Your expertise will empower students to achieve greater independence and confidence in their school environment.Key Responsibilities:

Develop and implement occupational therapy programs aligned with the school district’s mission and goals.

Assess and monitor students with disabilities, creating personalized interventions and transition plans.

Partner with teachers and school staff to build a shared understanding of students’ strengths and needs.

Conduct evaluations, create comprehensive occupational profiles, and provide data-driven recommendations.

Deliver targeted interventions to support students’ participation and performance in educational activities.

Recommend and guide the use of assistive technologies and adaptive tools to promote accessibility.

Maintain accurate documentation and ensure compliance with district, state, and federal regulations.

Other duties as assigned.

What You’ll Bring to the Role:

Master’s Degree in Occupational Therapy

Active Illinois Occupational Therapy License

Prior school-based experience (preferred, but not required)

A passion for helping students achieve their fullest potential
