School Social Worker/School Counselor AnthroMed Education isa dedicated and local provider that worksclosely with pre-K-12thgrade schools in Illinois to provide school-based Special Education services, including Social Work.Our organization is dedicated to partnering with passionate, hard-working Social Workers in the field and we provide excellent support, outstanding benefits, and robust compensation to attain your career goals. We are currently seeking a School Social Worker or School Counselor in Gages Lake for the 2023-2024 school year. The Social Worker or School Counselor joining will be excited to support this school's Transition Program. Location:Gages Lake, IL 60030 ABOUT THE ROLE:
Support in a Transition Program.
Manage a caseload of students ages 18-22.
Provide therapy to students who may have emotional disturbance and/or behavior concerns.
Work alongside a supportive, collaborative team.
Partner with parents/guardians, staff, and administrationto support the needs of students.
Assess, identify, and provide clinical interventions to students with emotional, social, attendance, and/or behavioral concerns within the general education population.
Perform consultations with classroom teachers and be a resource for school site personnel on mental health and social/emotional issues that may affect classroom performance.
More duties as assigned.
SCHOOL SOCIAL WORKER REQUIREMENTS:
A Master’s Degree in School Social Work (MSW) is required.
Professional Educator License (PEL) with School Social Worker endorsement is required.

SCHOOL COUNSELOR REQUIREMENTS:
Master’s Degree is required.
Professional Educator License (PEL) with School Counselor endorsement is required .
