Description: We are currently hiring for a 1st, 2nd, or 3rd shift Maintenance Technician who will join our team in Franklin Park, IL. You will have the opportunity to join a growing company with a great culture, benefits, and health insurance.This position is for a Maintenance Technician in a high speed manufacturing facility. They will be responsible for maintaining, troubleshooting and repairing all of the production equipment. They have rollers where the product is be extruded through their process, injected with a chemical, heated through an oven process, and then they slit and saw the sheets to specifications where they are maneuvered by robotic arms that suction the sheets to stack and palletize them ready for shipment. Candidates will come into the day, be distributed work orders and be required to respond to things via radio.Candidates will be responsible for repairing and maintaining the electrical systems for all of production. They will modify new and existing equipment for performance improvements and upgrades. Candidates will work with 110, 220, and 440 volt systems, AC/DC Drives, high and low voltage controls. They will be required to troubleshoot electrical problems to the component level. They have Allen Bradley PLC’s in the facility that they are required to troubleshoot, they will not program as they are all set.Candidates should also be comfortable with monitoring gauges and pressures from the chemical process to ensure things are flowing accurately, they will also have to fix conveyors, rollers, and other mechanical parts. A lot of their equipment is ran by pneumatics and some hydraulics.The breakdown of mechanical to electrical is about 50/50 and they will have the responsibilities below:Candidates will also have to have mechanical troubleshooting and repair experience.Gear replacements/adjustments, and other errors like that.Candidate must have a strong blueprint and electrical schematic as they will use this on a daily basisCandidate will have to replace and or repair various motors including but not limited to AC/CD and single and three phase motorsCandidates will be responsible for electrical repairs and troubleshooting, must be familiar working with voltage up to 480VCandidate will be responsible for PM on all machines and equipmentCandidate will be responsible for full tear downs and rebuildsCandidate will be responsible for working with and repairing both pneumatics and hydraulicsCandidate will be responsible for troubleshooting PLC'sLooking for a higher-level maintenance tech
