Responsible for leading unit activities and personnel on assigned shift in order to ensure high quality patient care, teamwork, and coordination of care. Determines work priorities and prepares daily work assignments. Serves as resource person for unit personnel in resolving operation and patient care problems, acts as physician liaison, and role model for staff. Maintains a collaborative relationship with ED leadership, Physician group as well as PCS team members, to ensure coordinated care occurs as planned.Hours: 6pm to 6amPreferred Education and/or Experience:
Baccalaureate Degree or higher in Nursing
Previous Team Lead/Charge experience
Required License and/or Certification:
Current State of Illinois Registered Nurse license
Current CPR Certification issued by either the American Heart Association or Red Cross
ACLS
TNCC or TNS
PALS or ENPC
ECRN
