job detailsjob summary:We are searching for a Manufacturing Engineer in East St Louis, IL to work for a chemical manufacturing company. This person will improve existing manufacturing processes and equipment under the direction of the Engineering Manager.This role could start as either a temp-to-hire or a direct-hire/permanent role depending on the candidate.location: East Saint Louis, Illinoisjob type: Permanentsalary: $80,000 - 120,000 per yearwork hours: 8am to 5pmeducation: Bachelorsresponsibilities:
Develop project plans to include design, resources required, timelines, budgets and scope of project. Is responsible for the successful and timely execution of the project.
Develop and supports preventative maintenance protocols for specific equipment and systems.
Support maintenance activities on a daily basis by providing technical support to production.
Support plant wide downtime goals by developing and implementing improvements.
Negotiate maintenance or service/supply agreements in support of specific equipment or systems.
Support production through development of improvements to equipment, systems or processes that increase productivity, safety or product quality.
