You will get an opportunity to help drive the customer experience for technology at events such as Consumer Electronics Show (CES), MineExpo, MineStar Underground Experience, etc.What you will do:

Help shape the vision and execute the plans from creation to delivery.

Manage key projects related to enhancing the sales experience across machines, solutions, services, and technologies

Consulting with the product groups, districts, and dealers in developing and implementing customer solutions designed to maximize product value and price.

Conducting periodic and regular surveys of customers to determine satisfaction.

Performing contract administration support and resolving contract-related issues.

Developing new prospects, establishing customers, and finding opportunities to introduce an organization's products and services.

What Skills you will have:Customer Focus: Knowledge of the values and practices that align customer needs and satisfaction as primary considerations in all business decisions and the ability to leverage that information in creating customized customer solutions. Familiar with Caterpillar dealer network and large mining companies’ operations.Industry Knowledge: Basic understanding of the commercial side of the business and dealer network. Needs sound commercial judgment, and analytical skills, along with a basic understanding of the product line, dealer organization, and customers.Decision Making and Critical Thinking: Knowledge of the decision-making process and associated tools and techniques; ability to accurately analyze situations and reach productive decisions based on informed judgment.Effective Communications: Understanding of effective communication concepts, tools, and techniques; ability to effectively transmit, receive, and accurately interpret ideas, information, and needs through the application of appropriate communication behaviors.Relationship Management: Knowledge of relationship management techniques; ability to establish and maintain healthy working relationships with clients, vendors, and peers.Value Selling: Knowledge of the principles and practices for selling and marketing products, technology, and services; ability to provide overall product/service 'value' and to differentiate support offerings that address clearly understood customer needs.Top candidates will also have:Marketing, or Engineering degree.Event management experience.Prior MineStar experience.Broad company knowledge and a strong understanding of dealer operations.Additional Information:The primary location for this position is East Peoria, IL, Mossville, IL, or Tucson, AZ.Domestic relocation assistance is not available.This position may require 25 - 40 % travel.Sponsorship is not availableThis posting will close at midnight on April, 21st, 2024.What you will get:Our goal at Caterpillar is for you to have a rewarding career.
