Human Resources Assistant

Description Robert Half is currently seeking a Human Resource Coordinator for our client in Dekalb, IL. As a Human Resource Coordinator, you will play a key role in supporting our HR department in various administrative and operational functions. You will be responsible for assisting with recruitment, onboarding, employee relations, and HR-related projects. This position offers an excellent opportunity to gain valuable experience in the field of human resources and make a meaningful impact on our organization. This position is a contract position lasting approximately 3 months.Responsibilities:Coordinate recruitment efforts, including posting job openings, screening resumes, scheduling interviews, and facilitating the hiring process.Assist with new employee onboarding, including preparing paperwork, conducting orientation sessions, and ensuring a smooth transition into the organization.Maintain accurate and up-to-date employee records and HR databases.Handle employee inquiries and provide assistance on HR-related matters.Support employee relations initiatives, including performance management, disciplinary actions, and conflict resolution.Assist with the development and implementation of HR policies and procedures.Collaborate with other departments to ensure compliance with labor laws and regulations.Participate in HR projects and initiatives as assigned.Robert Half is the first and largest specialized talent solutions firm that connects highly experience in job seekers to opportunities at great companies.
