The Channel Marketing Manager is responsible for the planning and execution of channel-specific marketing strategies to achieve P&L objectives.  You will be developing channel-specific marketing strategies, planning marketing campaigns, and managing marketing communications.   You will be skilled at working on cross-functional teams including Category Management, Finance, Digital, Sales, Brand, and finance.  The ideal candidate is a service-oriented, motivated, passionate, creative, and collaborative individual who has a deep understanding of distribution channels, marketing experience, and the consumer journey.DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:Design the commercial channel marketing strategy, influence, and align with sales colleagues, key internal business partners, and other cross-functional teamsCollaborate with Product Management teams to identify and implement growth initiatives within our current product portfolio as well as expansion areas.Understand business unit P&L objectives to make sound go-to-market recommendations in order to drive top and bottom-line growth.Collaborate with sales, product marketing, and brand execution teams in the areas of:Growth initiativesProgram development and implementationResearch including competitive insights and recommendationsPresentations and training delivery on new and existing productsCollaborate with Brand COE for Commercialization planning & executionProvide input to brand and print, digital, video & merchandising messaging and ensure they align with the overall channel strategy and drive the best possible consumer experienceDetermine platforms to ensure sales team has modern marketing tools & techniques to enable salesBuild and maintain channel expertise through field travel, attendance at industry events, competitive analysis and close collaboration with sales and business unit partners.Lead cross-functional planning to ensure alignment and preparedness across multiple stakeholders – delivering on time and on-quality workPartner with brand execution team to ensure development of digital collateral to drive product launches, promotions, key marketing campaigns, programs within channel and customer-specific marketing.Analyze market data, trends, consumer preferences, and competitor behavior to optimize marketing strategies.Evaluate and improve existing channel marketing strategiesOccasional travel required (up to 25%)PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Business or related field.Minimum of five (5) years of sales, product management, or marketing experience required. Channel Leadership experience preferred. Experience within the Consumer/Durable Goods industry preferred.Proficiency with Microsoft Office SuiteStrong multi-tasking and project management skillsStrong resilience to find solutions; independent thinking and problem-solvingExperience managing agency partners preferred.
