Job Title: Simulation EngineerJob DescriptionJoin a dynamic team at a brass foundry where you will leverage your casting simulation expertise to develop gating and feeding designs for various castings. This role focuses on driving yield improvements while maintaining casting quality and implementing design-for-manufacturing principles. You will work closely with subject matter experts in metallurgy and tooling engineering to solve technical problems and enhance the foundry's production processes.Hard Skills

Simulation experience (preferably with MagmaSoft)

Mechanical engineering

3D modeling (any software)

CAD modeling

GD&T practices

Microsoft Excel

Microsoft Office tools

Job TypeThis is a Contract-to-Hire position with a duration of 12 Month(s).Work SiteThis is a fully on-site position in Decatur, Illinois.Work Environment80% of the time working from a computer, 20% on the floor checking products. Primarily on-site. Interaction with product engineers and all engineering departments.
