87675BRJob Title:Load Coordinator - Decatur, ILDepartment/Function:Logistics, Transportation,Warehousing, Supply ChainJob Description:Logistics Coordinator - ADM LogisticsThis is a full-time, non-exempt level position.Position Summary:This position is responsible for developing strong customer/supplier relationships and assisting with the day to day operations of these accounts. Their daily objectives include entering shipments into our TMS (Transportation Management Software), tracking shipments, and quoting lanes for internal customers. The Logistics Coordinator will ensure each location’s transportation needs are met by managing customer deliveries and expectations, working with suppliers on inbound shipments to plants, and looking for ways to cut costs on each load. The Logistics Coordinator will report directly to the Customer Service Manager.Job Responsibilities:

Assist with leading day to day management of location’s logistics and supply chain needs

Manage transportation expenses for internal ADM customers

Logistics consulting and cost reductions

Track and report trends on customer accounts to management, including revenue and load count reports

Development and tracking of key performance indicators and metrics

Establish and meet individual goals and objectives relating to all aspect of the position

Participate in department sales and operational meetings

Participate and potentially lead location meetings involving transportation, supply chain, and/or procurement operations with internal ADM locations

Completion of location tracking reports

Track and trace shipments

Enter orders and quotes

Quoting customer business

Manage location’s transportation RFPs

Report to IDT Project Manager with a direct line to Customer Service Manager

Job Requirements:

Excellent verbal communication skills with emphasis on telephone communications

Strong organizational skills and attention to detail

Aggressive self-starter with keen negotiation skills in order to be successful in this role

Knowledge of brokerage, third party logistics and freight forwarding is helpful

Previous customer service experience is strongly preferred

Proficient in Microsoft Office applications such as, Word, Outlook, Excel and PowerPoint is required

A college degree is preferred

Ability to build strong internal and external relationships

Ability to work alone or in a team environment
