Key Responsibilities:
Perform and oversee daily maintenance and repairs for the company’s truck fleet.
Diagnose and repair mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic issues on trucks and equipment.
Troubleshoot and repair computer-controlled diesel engine components, including ECU/ECM systems.
Maintain and repair diesel engines, emission systems, turbochargers, and fuel systems.
Ensure all repairs are completed efficiently, accurately, and to a high-quality standard.
Keep detailed service records and documentation of all maintenance and repairs.
Maintain a clean, safe work environment and follow all safety protocols.
Plan, prioritize, and assign work to ensure smooth and efficient fleet operations.
Communicate effectively with drivers, operations staff, and management.
Order necessary parts and supplies to support timely maintenance and repairs.
Respond to emergency repair requests, both on-site and in the field, to minimize downtime.
Conduct thorough safety inspections to ensure all trucks and trailers meet DOT regulations and company standards.
Other responsibilities as needed based on company requirements.
