AV Repair– an established and successful transportation company is looking to hire a Parts Manager.
An ideal candidate must be able to provide support to our Shop Management team and enhance shop
performance. Previous experience is a must.
WE REQUIRE:
● Extensive knowledge of parts pertaining to Volvos, Freightliner Semi-Trucks and Dry-Van trailers
● Issue purchase orders and purchases parts
● Negotiate parts and material prices with vendors
● Maintain shop records such as tire count, inventory of parts, outstanding invoices, and contracts
● Pull parts for shop and shipping purposes
● Assist in locating parts and verifying part numbers
● Guarantee all parts are properly tagged
● Proactively work to assist others in achieving organizational objectives
QUALIFICATIONS:
● Previous mechanical experience preferred
● Must be familiar with completing purchase orders and/or repair orders
● Must be familiar with looking up parts and placing on-line orders
● Ability to read and understand instructions, written estimates, and work orders
● Prior inventory control experience
● Previous experience complying with OSHA, DOT, and CSA regulations preferred
MUST BE ABLE TO:
● Bend, twist, stoop, sit, kneel, crawl, push and pull.
● Able to reach in all directions
● Walk and stand for extended periods of time
● Able to lift and manipulate heavy objects up to 60 lbs.
