Job Description:
We are seeking a dependable and customer-focused Warehouse Front Desk Customer Service Representative with prior experience in freight and logistics. This role is the first point of contact for drivers, customers, and visitors. The ideal candidate will handle incoming inquiries, support daily shipping/receiving operations, and ensure smooth coordination between the front office and warehouse team.
Responsibilities:
Greet and assist drivers, visitors, and customers in a professional and courteous manner.
Check in/out drivers and verify shipment details.
Answer phone calls and respond to emails regarding freight status, scheduling, or issues.
Assist in preparing shipping documents, BOLs, and receiving records.
Communicate effectively with warehouse team, dispatchers, and customer service.
Maintain accurate records and update freight tracking systems.
Resolve customer issues or escalate to appropriate team members.
Qualifications:
1+ year of experience in a logistics, freight forwarding, or warehouse front desk/customer service role.
Knowledge of freight processes (inbound/outbound, LTL/FTL, import/export preferred).
Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
Detail-oriented and organized with the ability to multitask.
Proficient in Microsoft Office; experience with WMS or TMS systems is a plus.
Bilingual (English/Spanish or English/Chinese) preferred.
