This is a newspaper delivery driver job. The job includes delivering newspapers to the town of Richton Park, IL. The driver will be delivering Chicago Sun-Times and Tribune every day. You will also be delivering Daily Southtown every day except Saturday. On Saturdays, you will be delivering Barrons.
THIS IS AN EVERYDAY JOB. This includes holidays as well. The truck usually arrives at warehouse between 12 and 1:30 am. For training periods, please arrive earliest 2 am. On regular days, please arrive earliest 230 am unless you can be finished in time. The late time for routes is 630 am Mon thru Fri and 8 am on Sundays. If you just started out and you run late, it's fine.
The number of papers changes each day. Mon-Tue and Sat are the smaller amount days. Saturday being smaller due to no Daily Southtown. Wed-Fri are the bigger days with Sunday having the biggest amount of the week.
This is a driving job, and you have to use your OWN vehicle. Please have a license and reliable car.
The pay is $400/wk. The pay will be by physical check every Sunday. If check is needed earlier on weekend, please inform me or manager Vicki with enough time notice. You will not get your check the week you started.
ex. if you started on today Wednesday the 8th, your first paycheck will be the 19th.
The route takes place in Richton Park, IL but the warehouse you have to pick up your papers is at 1125 175th Street in Homewood, IL. Your route might at times be ready to go but there are times you might have to help bag the papers. On Sundays there are baggers, but they help by whatever order a driver arrives.
You are allowed to bring a helper on the route any pay is the responsibility of the driver.
