Driver Manager Dispatcher:
Medium size refrigerated company is seeking to hire an experienced Driver Manager/ Load Planner. Salary will be based upon the amount of experience in the industry and a in house interview.
Responsibilities:
Route drivers with FTL pickups and deliveries
Coordinate shipments to meet customer demands
Determine most cost efficient route
Able to communicate and problem solve with issues that arise
Use AS400 system to dispatch & route drivers
Requirements:
Knowledgeable on computers (MS Excel & Word)
Good data entry skills
At least 1 year of FTL dispatch experience
Must be able to handle pressure and multitask
Must be knowledgeable with city locations within US coast to coast
Must be motivated & a team player
Required to work one floating weekend a month
