Central Truck Repair is seeking a full-time Diesel Mechanic for shop
Your main responsibilities would be working on owned fleet equipment (Volvo, Mack, international & freightliner). You would primarily be use of software programs to diagnose and repairing vehicles,
truck preparation, up fitting and general maintenance on trucks
MAJOR RESPONSIBILITY AREAS:
Tractor repairs
Support equipment repairs
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES Perform inspections on company owned equipment
Repair air conditioning systems as needed
Charge parts out into the company's computer system
Read, troubleshoot, and repair electronic diesel engines
Read and understand equipment electrical circuits and diagrams
Troubleshoot and repair air brake systems
Know how to operate a torque wrench
Upfit & prepare new trucks for service
One year of relevant experience in the operation and repair of tractor, and trailers (air brakes) inspection/repairs within a fleet, state, or shop environment.
Pay: $25.00 - $40.00 per hour
Expected hours: 8 per week
Experience:
Diesel engine repair: 1 year (Required)
