We are a dynamic and fast-growing logistics company seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Accounting Assistant to join our team. If you're proficient in QuickBooks and have strong skills in Excel, Word, Outlook, and OneDrive, we would love to hear from you!
Key Responsibilities:
Deposits: Record daily deposits with accuracy.
Email Management: Efficiently check, resolve, and respond to multiple email accounts.
Accounts Receivable & Collections: Maintain and update collection files regularly in Excel.
Accounts Payable: Update payment spreadsheets daily based on received emails and store invoices on OneDrive.
Paperwork Handling: Manage and organize paperwork received from drivers.
Mail Collection: Collect and distribute daily mail.
Coordination: Collaborate with dispatch managers to update chargeback files weekly.
Short Payments: Add short payments to the dispatch SC sheet daily and write off agreed short payments as bad debt in QuickBooks.
Follow-Up: Work closely with dispatch managers to resolve short payments and chargebacks.
Team Support: Assist colleagues with urgent tasks as needed.
Check Printing: Print checks as required.
Administrative Tasks: Perform additional administrative duties as assigned.
Qualifications:
Proficiency in QuickBooks.
Strong skills in Excel, Word, Outlook, and OneDrive.
Excellent organizational and multitasking abilities.
Strong communication skills.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
