Superior Skilled Trades is seeking Carpenters with Steel Stud Framing experience for a start in Willowbrook, IL!
WEEKLY PAY!
PAY: $26-$32/hour (based upon experience)
HOURS: Shifts will be 8-hour workdays, 5 days per week (40 hours/week)
SCHEDULE: Workdays will be Monday-Friday; 7:00am – 4:00pm
START DATE: 09/08/2025
DURATION: 1-2 months (will use on other projects in area if good)
About the Role:
We are seeking an experienced Carpenter with strong skills in steel stud framing to assist with the interior build-out of a one-story church. This role requires hands-on expertise with steel studs and the ability to work efficiently and accurately to ensure the project is completed to the highest standards.
Responsibilities:
Perform steel stud framing for interior walls and structures
Read and interpret blueprints, drawings, and project specifications
Measure, cut, and assemble steel studs with precision
Collaborate with project managers and other trades on-site
Ensure all work meets safety and quality standards
Qualifications:
Proven experience with steel stud framing (required)
Ability to read and follow construction drawings and layouts
Strong knowledge of carpentry tools and best practices
Attention to detail and commitment to high-quality workmanship
Ability to work independently and as part of a team
Must follow all safety regulations on-site
Must have PPE including steel toe work boots, hard hat, gloves, high visibility vest, and protective eyeglasses
Must have basic carpentry hand tools
Physical Requirements:
Ability to lift up to 50 lbs
Comfortable standing, bending, and working for extended periods
