Buhrman Design Group, a Chicagoland North Shore Landscape Contractor is seeking a full-time mechanic to repair equipment and help with some day-to-day activities in our storage yard. This is a year-round position with benefits. Running and managing a preventative maintenance program with repairs for small field equipment, vehicles, trucks, and trailers. It may include fueling mowers, equipment, trucks, checking oils, servicing equipment, and handling some light mechanical work such as brakes, mufflers, electrical, for trucks and trailers, etc. Dumping trucks, picking up needed supplies from various vendors, watering plants, loading mulch gravel, plants, etc. each day, and helping as needed for the storage yard. Hours are open for discussion. Must have a valid "good" drivers license. Ideal candidate has small engine repair experience, construction equipment experience, and knowledge of landscaping equipment.
