Job description

Responsibilities/Duties:

· Review proposal specifications, scheduling, drawings, pre-bid meetings and visit project sites to determine scope of work required in preparing bid/estimate proposal.

· Estimate/Track time, labor, construction materials, and product costs to determine the overall cost for construction/excavation projects and use information to prepare bid/estimates.

· Provide supervision and support for crew members/foreman or superintendents.

· Maintain documentation of quantities and value of work estimated/completed to support forecasting for future project performance.

· Responsible for all subcontractor’s work meets requirements and expectations.

· Responsible to review process financial aspects of contracts: billings, sub-contract payments, material payments, collections, etc.

· Manage projects. Assist project managers with change order pricing and/or project specific questions related to estimate. Assist project manager and operation manager with long term department scheduling, growth plan and capital improvements.

· Performs other duties as assigned.

· Maintains quality service by following organization standards.

· Maintains continuity among corporate, division, and local work teams by documenting and communicating actions, irregularities, and continuing needs.

· Build relationships with existing company clients. Seek and develop new relationships with future potential clients.

Requirements:

- Must have Asphalt/concrete experience

·Foreman or Manager experience in asphalt, paving, grading and materials.

· Fluency in Microsoft Office

· knowledge and understanding of related production and placement practices along with quality control, safety and specifications for hot mix asphalt and aggregate sales.

· Knowledge and understanding of Quality Control operations related to hot mix asphalt and/or chip seal.

· Understanding of environmental and safety regulatory compliance requirements.

· Strong quantitative and analytical skills

· Problem solving skills with attention to detail.

Bonus skills:

Bilingual (English & Spanish)

Prior relevant roles within a similar type of industry

Experience working with the following industries: landscaping, irrigation, snow removal, commercial construction, and any other property maintenance services.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $75,000.00 - $120,000.00 per year
