Casey's is searching for a Car Wash Technician who will be responsible for equipment repair and service within the assigned territory of the Greater Chicago area. As a Car Wash Technician, you will address maintenance priorities while minimizing impact to production.
Responsibilities:
- Travel between stores to provide routine scheduled maintenance and unscheduled breakdown repairs. Repair and
maintain all mechanical equipment, electrical devices and plumbing at car washes. Car wash equipment serviced and
maintained includes, but is not limited to, air compressor chemicals, boilers, channel letters, Code-A-Wash, control
panels, coin operated controls, coin changers, reverse osmosis water softeners, coin operated vacuums, vending
machines, washer racks and weep controls.
- Troubleshoot, resolve, and test electrical, mechanical, hydraulic, plumbing, and pneumatic issues.
- Comply with all safety guidelines, procedures, and PPE requirements at all times.
- May assist with acquisition/store remodels tasks including, but not limited to, rebranding, changing lighting, doors, etc.
Requirements:
- High school diploma or equivalent is required.
- Previous mechanic experience preferred. Welding experience a plus.
- Strong interpersonal, verbal, and written communication skills.
- Strong time management skills and experience with planning and troubleshooting.
- Ability to interpret blueprints and wiring schematics.
- Ability to work indoors or outdoors and in a variety of weather conditions.
- Ability to lift up to 75 pounds, stand, walk, bend, kneel, crouch, crawl, twist, perform repetitive motions, and climb and
work from ladders.
- Travel is required 90% of the time.
- Must possess a valid driver's license and have the physical ability to drive a vehicle for job-related travel.
