BlockMaster Electronics is looking for a Field Sales Manager to help us maintain good solid relationships with existing customers and acquire new customers. Generating new business opportunities, assisting in new product development, and marketing of products. You will be responsible for maximizing our sales team potential, both our distributor partners and manufacturers’ representatives, developing sales plans, and justifying those plans to ownership.

Job Requirements:

Experience managing a sales force in the electronics component field.

Strong interpersonal and communication skills; ability to coach and develop the sales team.

Team player with positive, “can do/do whatever it takes to get the job done” attitude.

Flexible and entrepreneurial, able to thrive in a continuously changing environment.

Quick learner with solid decision-making capabilities.

Has established relationships with key engineers and buyers at major OEM customers and distributors.

Ability to manage multiple priorities.

Be creative in assisting with the development of Sales/Marketing Strategies.

Must be able to close sales initiatives.

Attend industry shows (EDS) and trade shows for targeted industries.

Excellent written, verbal and presentation skills.

Must possess strong computer and internet skills, effectively utilizing our database and Microsoft Office including Word, Excel, Outlook, and PowerPoint.

Responsibilities:

Achieve growth and hit sales targets by successfully managing the sales representatives and distributors.

Design and implement a strategic business plan that expands company’s customer base and ensure its strong presence.

Build and promote strong, long-lasting customer relationships by partnering with them and understanding their needs.

Identify emerging markets and market shifts while being fully aware of new products and competition status.
