Blue Violet Salon is looking for a licensed, experienced, and professional hairstylist to join our team. Here at the BVS, we strive to give every guest a wonderful salon experience while using the safest and most effective professional salon products the industry has to offer. Not only do we focus on the health of our clients but also our team’s health. We want our team members to be happy and living the balanced life they want.
Required Qualifications:
Currently licensed in the state of Illinois for cosmetology services.
This position is required to work at least 20 hours per week.
Must be able to perform all traditional services in a modern salon.
Salon professional must be able to work a minimum of 2 Saturdays a month.
Preferred Qualifications:
In addition to the above required qualifications, candidates with the following qualifications will be given priority.
Available to work 30 – 35 hours a week.
Willing to work 4 days per week.
Fully or partially established clientele.
Familiar with or certified in extension services.
Able to work 3 Saturdays a month.
Benefits & Compensation:
Service Commission available up to 55%, depending on experience.
Retail Sales Commission starting at 10% and can go up from there.
New beauty professionals are eligible for hourly base pay.
