Hydraulic Component Services is looking for a motivated Driver/Route Sales person to help cover our large customer base. We are a hydraulic, pneumatic, and mechanical component remanufacturer/rebuilder, and distributor of various fluid power components. We also have a technical, on-site team for field service. The company has been in business since 1975 and has a great track record in the area as well as regionally. This position would be out of our Hammond, IN facility and the company is headquartered in New Berlin, WI.
DRIVER / ROUTE SALES
Must have a good driving record. Candidate must have some computer experience. Industrial, mobile and/or mechanical experience a plus.
Applicant must be able to maintain and grow customer relationships and understand our customers needs and expectations.
Fluid power/hydraulics experience is a big plus but not necessary
Prior sales in service is a plus
Past repair experience, manufacturing/industrial or mobile heavy equipment is a plus
Willing to train the right person that is career based, motivated and reliable.
Responsibilities include:
-Setting a sales route for the week
-Making phone calls and emails to customers to check for components to pick up, any other requests
-Picking up components from customers efficiently and gathering all pertinent info
-Following up on quotes for approval
-Filling out paperwork for inbound components, new customers, changes to contacts
