Base salary will range from $75-80k (depending on experience) plus a 20% bonus paid quarterly on some metrics and annually.

Account Manager of Market Development (handling existing customers)
The Account Manager of Market Development residing in the Chicago – Milwaukee area to join our thriving team. My client is a Laundry Chemical Solutions Expert with laundry chemical distribution points across the United States and internationally.
Working remotely and on client sites within the Chicago and Milwaukee area only, the Account Manager of Market Development will be responsible for providing wash-technical service and solutions for plant operations, identifying and executing sales opportunities through data analysis, and developing long-term working relationships with all levels of management in the designated customer base. Field Engineers will handle the technical side of the business.
This critical role is the face of the organization as the unparalleled, thoughtful service that they provide is what makes their business grow exponentially. The right candidate has strong chemical, technical and/or mechanical acumen - specifically prior field service experience, excellent technological skills, people skills, detailed problem solving, and troubleshooting skills.
ESSENTIAL RESPONSIBLITIES AND TASKS WITHIN THE DESIGNATED TERRITORY:
Delivering and maintaining appropriate levels of service, maintenance, and communications.
Providing solutions for any wash-technical issues.
In collaboration with the Engineering department, assisting with planning and execution of new dosing equipment installations.
Programming chemical dosing equipment as well as customers’ washing equipment.
Maintaining all company provided equipment in proper working conditions.
Operating within the assigned expense budget.
Collection of past due accounts receivable, where applicable.
Submitting all reports in a timely manner.
Promoting and selling the full product line to all existing customers.
Developing sales accounts and establishing customer relationships.
Maintaining appropriate sales coverage.

QUALIFICATIONS:

Bachelor’s Degree from four-year College/University in Chemical, Engineering, Mechanical, Business, or comparable field experience.
Minimum 2 years’ industry related experience.
Excellent analytical, organizational, and technical/mechanical skills.
Good knowledge of Microsoft Office, including Word and Excel, Internet, and Order processing software.
Ability to act quickly, accurately and handle a fast-paced work environment.
Good communication skills, written and verbal.
Prepared to be on the road and stay overnight.
