Chicago Five-O Services Inc. is an independently owned company providing integrated door staff and security services. Our services include multi-family residential and commercial properties, providing door staff and security services to our clients. The door staff and security staff are a customer service position.
The door staff and security personnel reports directly to the Property Manager, and while specific responsibilities will vary based on the property location, the door staff and/or security personnel will be responsible for greeting owners, residents, guests and vendors while ensuring a high level of customer service is maintained at all times. The ability to conduct all required tasks and be adaptive to changing responsibilities while always maintaining a positive attitude are crucial. Strong communication and organizational skills are also key necessary components of job performance.
The door staff and security personnel are primarily stationed at the entrance of the facility and provide a significant first impression of the property.
Key responsibilities and accountabilities:
Politely and professionally, greet owners, residents, guests and vendors.
Keep detailed shift activity logs of all activity during the work shift to record any property damage, unusual occurrences and malfunctioning of equipment and report to the Property Manager and Chicago Five-O Services management.
Be well groomed and in uniform with a nametag at all times during shift.
Provide other assistance to guests and residents as necessary to ensure the highest quality of service.
Prevent entrance of unauthorized or undesirable persons.
Ensure visitors, guests and vendors follow properly sign in/out procedures prior to accessing the building.
Observe departing personnel to guard against theft of tenant or building property.
Answer phones and intercom to provide assistance as necessary.
Handle package and other deliveries and processing to ensure receipt by the authorized party.
Maintain property and occupant safety by contacting proper authorities (police, fire and emergency medical) when situation requires.
Monitor security cameras located within the facility.
Conduct routine patrols of the facility (if required) as determined by facility procedures and direction of Property Manager.
Other duties as assigned by the Property Manager and Chicago Five-O Services management to meet property needs and procedures.

Exceptional customer service skills.
Excellent interpersonal, verbal and written communication skills.
Ability to work in a fast past environment.
Ability to work a variety of shifts to include holidays, weekend, afternoon and nights (based on needs at each site location).
Change of possible work location may occur dependent on the needs of the business.
Strong time management, organizational and problem-solving skills.
