We are looking for a dynamic and results-driven short term Leasing Agent to join our team and assist in leasing up our apartment community. The successful candidate will be responsible for attracting and converting prospective tenants into residents through effective marketing and leasing strategies. You'll work on a temporary basis to support our leasing efforts and meet occupancy goals.

Responsibilities:

Conduct leasing tours of the apartment community and provide detailed information about available units, amenities, and pricing.

Respond to phone and email inquiries from prospective tenants in a timely and professional manner.

Maintain a thorough understanding of the local rental market and competitive properties to remain competitive and attractive to potential renters.

Develop and implement effective marketing strategies to generate leads and maintain occupancy rates.

Build and maintain relationships with current and potential residents, including follow-up communication, satisfaction surveys, and event planning.

Collaborate with property management to ensure that leasing goals and objectives are met or exceeded.

Prepare and execute lease agreements and related documents in compliance with company policies and local laws.

Conduct move-in and move-out inspections and ensure that units are rent-ready and maintained to company standards.

Assist with resident retention efforts, including renewal programs, resident events, and customer service initiatives.

Maintain accurate records of leasing activity and resident information in the property management system.

Requirements:

High school diploma or equivalent; college degree preferred.

Minimum of 1-2 years of experience in leasing, sales, or customer service, preferably in the multifamily housing industry.

Knowledge of Fair Housing laws and regulations.

Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with a focus on providing exceptional customer service.

Ability to work in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment.

Proven ability to close deals and meet leasing goals.

Proficiency in Microsoft Office and property management software.

Flexible schedule and availability to work weekends and holidays, as needed.

Valid driver's license and reliable transportation.
