Property management company located in Oak Park has an opening for a full-time janitor or cleaning staff member. We manage 20+ residential, mixed-use, and commercial properties in Berwyn, Cicero, Elmwood Park, Forest Park, and Oak Park and are growing! We are seeking a self-motivated and positive team player to help clean and maintain our buildings.
Typical responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
- Cleaning all common areas of the properties, which may include the common hallways/stairs/windows, laundry rooms, mechanical rooms, bathrooms, and management office
- Trash/litter pick-up and sweeping in all common areas and around the building
- Check supplies and replace in restrooms as needed
- Check light bulbs around the property and replace as needed
- Replace smoke and carbon monoxide detectors and batteries as needed
- Light landscaping as needed (weeding, watering)
- Clean apartments/offices as needed and before move-ins
Requirements:
- Bilingual (English/Spanish) a plus
- Availability for weekend shifts
- Reliable transportation
