Summary:
Mid-Size Distribution Company that delivers Snack/Beverages/Grocery Products in the Chicagoland Area
is seeking a part-time office administrative sales assistant. 20 hours/week to start, potential to grow into a FT position.
As an Administrative Sales Assistant, you will provide essential support to the sales team by handling
various administrative tasks, coordinating sales activities, and facilitating communication between internal
departments and external clients. Your role is crucial in ensuring the efficiency and effectiveness of the
sales process.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Sales Support: Provide administrative support to the sales team, including preparing sales
documents, promotional books, product catalogs and presentations.
2. Data Management: Maintain accurate and up-to-date customer and sales records in the
database or CRM system, including contact information, sales activities, and account status.
3. Administrative Tasks: Perform general administrative tasks, including filing, photocopying, and
handling incoming and outgoing correspondence.
Qualifications:
Experience: Previous experience in sales support, customer service, or administrative roles preferred.
Communication Skills: Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to interact
professionally with customers and colleagues.
Organizational Skills: Strong organizational and multitasking abilities, with attention to detail and
accuracy.
Computer Skills: Proficiency in MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and experience with CRM software
or databases.
Team Player: Ability to work collaboratively within a team environment and contribute to a positive work
culture.
Problem-Solving Skills: Resourceful problem solver with the ability to prioritize tasks and handle
multiple deadlines.
Adaptability: Flexibility to adapt to changing priorities and business needs in a dynamic sales
