OFFICE MANAGER
This is an in-person position ONLY in Woodridge, IL.
Applicant must be available to work a minimum of two days a week in a home office.
Ideal candidate is someone very organized who knows how to set up, follow and maintain systems for running smooth operations.
This is a part-time, permanent, contract position (1099). No benefits. Flexible schedule.
Office manager can design their own weekly schedule with hours ranging from 10 to 20 per week.
Pay is $15 per hour to start with an increase to $20 per hour after you no longer need training and guidance to accomplish primary tasks and make decisions.
Duties:
- Open and sort mail
- Contact vendors, partners and others to research bills and notices.
- Create and manage an efficient workflow for three different companies
- Split time between tasks
- Handle communications with customers, tenants and others
- Communicate through phone calls, texts and emails in a professional and courteous manner
- Organize and maintain physical and digital files and records
- Track and categorize income and expenses
- Monitor, track and send invoices and payments
Requirements:
- Proficiency in Google Workspace like Gmail, Google Docs, etc.
- Proficiency in QuickBooks
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to prioritize tasks effectively
- Excellent time management skills
- Knowledge of proper phone etiquette
- Professional communication skills
- Ability to maintain confidentiality of sensitive information
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy in record keeping
