We are a small family-owned independent insurance agency looking for someone to join us in our Hammond and Crown Point offices. Our family has been helping people protect themselves since 1939. We are searching for someone special who takes pride in their work, finds helping others very rewarding and truly cares about taking care of our family of insureds.
The right person must be a fast learner, energetic, friendly, quick-witted, hard-working, and comfortable working in a very fast-paced, upbeat, fun, family-oriented atmosphere. Exceptional organizational and multi-tasking skills are a NECESSITY. Must have Microsoft Office experience and developed computer skills. We need a dedicated individual looking for a long-term career. This position is multi-faceted, fast-paced and full of possibilities. If not already licensed, we would like to work towards getting our new team members fully licensed in Indiana and Illinois, when the timing is right, so they can reach their full potential in our agency.
Business hours are Monday thru Friday, 9am to 5pm. We are willing to discuss a flexible schedule considerate of educational/family, commitments/obligations and a part time opportunity could be possible. We have a no-pressure environment. No sales minimums or monthly quotas to meet. Your income is not based on the number of policies you sell. Compensation will be based on skill set, past experience and possible possession of an Indiana or Illinois Resident Insurance Producers License thru the Indiana and/or Illinois Department of Insurance.
