Key Responsibilities:
Create work schedules for shop employees based on production needs and project timelines.
Train shop employees as necessary to ensure competency and compliance with safety and procedural standards.
Provide input on shop employee performance to assist in performance reviews and development plans.
Inform shop employees of safety protocols, procedures, and any relevant updates.
Facilitate clear communication of project details and requirements between the office and the shop floor.
Lead by example in areas such as attendance, productivity, organization, and adherence to procedures.
Requirements:
Proven experience as a Shop Foreman, Supervisor, or Manager in a manufacturing or production environment.
Strong leadership and communication skills.
Ability to prioritize tasks and manage time effectively.
Knowledge of safety regulations and procedures.
Experience in creating and implementing work schedules.
Technical proficiency in shop equipment and operations.
