Position Overview: This role manages order fulfillment at a small manufacturing company. This position requires attention to detail, good communication with team members, and the ability to work effectively within a fast-paced production environment.
Company Overview: Founded in 1990, Natural Formulations is a small, family-owned manufacturing company focused on all-natural, self care products. We work with companies to create private label massage lotions, oils, shampoos, cremes, etc. We also have an in house line of products ranging from skin care to laundry detergent.
Key Responsibilities
1. Enter phone and email orders using Quickbooks.
2. Package and prepare individual orders for shipment.
3. Coordinate transportation with trucking companies for large orders.
4. Coordinate with Production Manager to maintain product inventory.
5. Communicate effectively with team members and supervisors regarding product status, inventory, equipment issues, and quality concerns.
6. Maintain cleanliness and organization at work station
7. Flexibility to handle various tasks as necessary, demonstrating adaptability in a factory setting.
Required Skills and Qualifications
- Attention to detail and ability to perform tasks with accuracy.
-Familiarity with Quickbooks is a plus.
-Ability to effectively communicate with customers, vendors, and coworkers.
- Physical stamina to stand for extended periods and lift/move heavy objects (Accommodations can be made).
- Basic troubleshooting skills.
- Ability to problem solve and accomplish tasks independently.
Training and Development
- Training on process, equipment, safety procedures, and quality standards provided upon hiring.
- Opportunities for additional training and skill development may be provided as needed.
