This is a full-time on-site role located in Lake Forest.
Our client is an entrepreneurial company that provides contract manufacturing services to the cosmetics and personal care fields. They've been in business since 2018 and have grown at a very fast pace since that time. They specialize in developing and packaging liquids, creams, and hot-fill personal care products into bottles, tubes, jars, sachets, packets, and other package formats.
Purpose/Summary:
Maintenance Mechanics maintain and repair factory equipment and other industrial machinery, such as conveying systems, production machinery, and packaging equipment. Maintenance Machine Mechanics install, dismantle, repair, reassemble, and move machinery in manufacturing facility.
Knowledge-Skills-Abilities:
Technical Degree or equivalent educational/military experience
Experience:
Must have direct 3-5 years of experience as a Maintenance Mechanic with blending and filling machines.
3 or more years experience in equipment repair.
Mechanical Skills including: Pneumatics, Hydraulics, Pumps, Bearings, Chains and Belting, Conveying Systems, Valves and Mechanical Troubleshooting. Perform maintenance, service & repairs, and is responsible for performing scheduled preventive maintenance of liquid fillers, pumps, conveyors, and coding equipment. Troubleshoot and Repair Blenders and Filling/Packaging Machines.
Electrical Skills including: Basic Electricity, Voltmeter and Amp Probe, AC/DC Motors and Control Systems, Basic Schematic Reading, Basic PLC Knowledge and Electrical Troubleshooting.
Machine Shop Skills including: Welding, Fabrication and excellent abilities with all standard maintenance tools and shop equipment.
Machine Experience including: MRM/Elgin, Oden, and Kalish liquid fillers, Resina, and Kapsall automatic cappers, Videojet Ink printers, etc.
Be able to read and write English. Bilingual a plus.
Meets service levels consistently; preferable to exceed expectations.
Communicates timely and to the appropriate personnel with regards to any information about meeting work assignments as directed or as inferred to be successful.
Uses materials, tools, and resources safely, appropriately and with value considerations, and conducts work activities in a safe manner with forethought to best actions rooted in safety for oneself and others.
Provide troubleshooting, diagnostic evaluation, and repair of liquid filling equipment.
Perform maintenance, service & repairs, and is responsible for performing scheduled preventive maintenance of liquid fillers, pumps, conveyors, and coding equipment.
Attend and participate in all required staff functions including but not limited to Safety Committee Meetings, Department Updates
Promote safety by abiding by all related policies and procedures and set a good example for others.
Physical Capabilities:
