We are looking for a Maintenance Repair Tech to join our Addison, IL shot peening facility!
As our Maintenance Repair Tech, you will work closely with the Maintenance Engineer to ensure machines are running at optimal performance. This is a great role for an individual with some maintenance and fabrication (welding) experience who wishes to expand their knowledge, particularly in preventative maintenance.

Your Challenge:
Read blueprints and schematic drawings to determine work procedures
Work within precise limits or standards of accuracy.
Follow instructions and read blueprints.
Safely work at heights.

Plan work and solve problems.

Perform a variety of duties which may change often; and operate machinery.
Repair pumps, large conveying augers, dust collectors, blast rooms.
Assemble machinery and bolts, welds, rivets, or otherwise fastens them to foundation or other structures, using hand tools and power tools.
May operate engine lathe or milling machine to grind, file, and turn machine parts to dimensional specifications.
What You Bring:
Experience constructing and /or repairing industrial machines
Experience aligning machines and equipment, using hoists, jacks, hand tools, squares, rules, micrometers, lasers, and plumb bobs.
Experience repairing and lubricating machinery and equipment.
Basic Electrical knowledge and machine trouble shooting skills.
Welding experience.
2 + years of maintenance experience
