About the Role:
We are seeking a dedicated individual to join our team in a Maintenance / Custodian / Janitor role. This position involves a variety of tasks to maintain and enhance our facility's cleanliness and operational efficiency.
Key Responsibilities:
General cleaning tasks such as sweeping, mopping, emptying trash, and washing windows.
Maintaining cleanliness and functionality of equipment and office areas.
Assisting in machine maintenance, including coolant and oil level checks, and maintaining documentation.
Material handling and storage area organization.
Occasionally operating machine shop equipment and assisting in product assembly.
Local delivery and pick-up responsibilities (within 10 miles of the facility).
Basic Requirements:
Ability to multitask and adapt to shifting priorities.
Self-motivated with the ability to work independently and assist team members proactively.
Physical ability to stand, lift, and walk for extended periods, with frequent lifting of up to 30-40 lbs.
Usage of personal protective equipment (steel-toe shoes, eye and ear protection) as required.
Commitment to workplace safety.
Proficiency in English and strong teamwork skills.
Positive attitude and openness to feedback.
Eligibility to work in the USA will be verified.
Work Hours:
Full-time position.
Day shift starting at 6:30 am, Monday to Friday.
40-hour workweek during a 6-week trial period.
