AWT World Trade in Chicago, IL is looking for an Electrical Control Engineer.
Responsibilities:
Help to develop new electrical systems for various applications
Responsible for developing system specifications and layouts
Test the systems and make adjustments as needed to perform
Must work with customers to do troubleshooting and service of their machines
Qualifications:
Must be proficient with SolidWorks
Must be up to date on the latest electrical technology to help design new, re-design, and help lower manufacturing costs
Need to have a PLC programming background as well…we use Allen Bradly, Panasonic, Omron, and Mitsubishi
HMI experience a plus
Brands you'll work with: Allen Bradley, Mitsubishi, Solidworks, Omron, Panasonic
You should be proficient in:
Blueprint Reading
PLC troubleshooting
Electrical Schematics
CAD
PLC Programming
Machines & technologies you'll use:
CAD Software (Solidworks)
HMI
