Position: Warehouse Worker - Full Time

Closest Intersection: 35th and S California Avenue. Chicago, IL 60632 -

Employment Type: Full-time, Hourly

Schedule: Monday to Friday, 9:00 AM - 5:00 PM

Pay Range: $16.20 - 18.00 (starting rate based on experience)

D&D Best One Corporation is a growing wholesale distribution company dedicated to supplying high-quality packaging and supply products (e.g., plastic bags, wrap films) to businesses such as grocers, retailers, and distributors throughout the region. We are seeking a dependable and proactive Warehouse Associate to join our team.

Position Summary:

This is a hands-on warehouse role for someone who’s organized, proactive, and reliable. You’ll assist in receiving, organizing, and preparing goods for delivery, while keeping the warehouse safe and efficient. As part of a small and growing team, your ideas and initiative will be valued—and there's room to grow with us. We’re a small team now, but as we grow, there may be opportunities to take on additional responsibilities or leadership for the right person.

Key Responsibilities:

-Receive, verify, and organize incoming shipments

-Pick and pack orders accurately based on delivery schedules

-Keep warehouse clean, organized, and free of hazards

-Assist with basic inventory tracking (counts, restocking, labeling)

-Load/unload trucks with care, using pallet jacks as needed

-Follow safety procedures and company policies at all times

-Communicate issues, shortages, or mislabeling to management

-Suggest improvements to warehouse layout or operations when applicable

-Support other departments as needed

Qualifications:

-2-3+ year of warehouse or general labor experience preferred

-Licensed/certified to operate a warehouse forklift (or willing to become certified within 30 days)

-Must be able to lift and move up to 50 lbs on a regular basis

-Authorized to work in the U.S.

-High school diploma or GED equivalent preferred

-Must be punctual, dependable, and detail-oriented

-Comfortable working both independently and as part of a small team

-All new hires are subject to a 60-day introductory period to ensure mutual fit

Preferred Skills:

-Spanish language proficiency

-Experience using manual or electric pallet jacks

-Familiarity with basic inventory tracking (Google Sheets, Excel, etc.)

-Self-starter who takes initiative and communicates clearly

-Positive attitude and a strong sense of responsibility

-Clear communicator with strong interpersonal skills.

-Positive, can-do attitude with a strong sense of ownership.

-Demonstrated commitment to safety and operational excellence.
