This position is a full-time, Monday through Friday 7:00 am to 5:00 pm position
Offers overtime pay for any hours worked over 40.
Pay: $20.00 - $24.00 per hour

Job description
We are seeking a highly skilled and dedicated Building Maintenance Tech/ Handyman to join our team and ensure the efficient operation and upkeep of our facilities. The Building Maintenance Tech/ Handyman will play a critical role in preserving the overall functionality and appearance of our buildings.
Responsibilities:
Perform routine inspections of building systems, equipment, and facilities to identify maintenance needs, safety hazards, and areas for improvement.
Execute preventive maintenance tasks, including but not limited to HVAC system checks, plumbing assessments, electrical system inspections, and structural evaluations.
Respond promptly to maintenance requests and emergencies, addressing issues such as leaks, malfunctions, and safety concerns.
Diagnose and troubleshoot mechanical, electrical, plumbing, and HVAC problems, implementing effective solutions to restore functionality.
Conduct repairs and replacements of faulty equipment, components, and fixtures, ensuring compliance with building codes and safety regulations.
Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities, including work performed, materials used, and equipment serviced.
Perform regular cleaning and upkeep tasks, including painting, carpentry work, and landscaping, to maintain the building's aesthetic appeal.
Schedule: Monday thru Friday 7am-5pm (Weekend availability as needed)
Qualifications:
Solid understanding of carpentry, electrical, plumbing, HVAC, and mechanical systems, with the ability to diagnose and troubleshoot issues effectively.
Proficiency in using maintenance tools and equipment.
Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to work well under pressure, especially during emergencies.
Strong attention to detail and a commitment to producing quality work.
