Urban Alternatives, Inc, a real estate property management company, is seeking a Full-Time Groundskeeper/Landscaper, including Snow Plowing. Our office is based in Chicago, IL in the Austin neighborhood. We manage properties in Chicago, IL and Gary, IN. We are a family-owned business with about 25 employees and 1 friendly goldendoodle office dog.
JOB DESCRIPTION
Landscape Season: mow, aerate, seed, trim bushes, mulching, etc.
Snow Season: plow, salt, work after hours as needed
Knowledge to repair landscaping and snow equipment a plus
Special Projects: seal porches, clean catch basins, and other general groundskeeping & building projects throughout the year (having basic tools is a plus)
Management or supervising experience
REQUIREMENTS:
Must be able to lift 50 pounds and handle the physical demands of the job
Punctual, Reliable and Ready to Work
Work Independently without daily supervision
Valid Drivers License & car insurance, SSN, and a reliable vehicle
Bilingual in English and Spanish
OTHER DETAILS
Full-Time, 40 hours work week
Compensation will be $17.00-$25.00 depending on experience.
